Sam’s Radio Hams Sunday Net – 2016 Net Control Operator Instructions & Script
The pre-net check-in starts at 0830 Local time and will continue to 0900 on 7268.5 kHz. The Net Control operator may also be using the Condor Connection for check-ins, and will also ask for any relays.
The Net Control Operators will determine if the conditions will allow continuing on 40 meters, or to QSY to 3921.0 kHz for the Formal Sunday Net. The Condor Connection may be used for relays. At 0900 the net will be officially opened and the Officers and Chairpersons Reports taken. After all reports are taken, the net operator will then take any late check-ins, and open the net for QSO conversation between members. If the Sunday Net was primarily conducted on 40 meters, then at 0930 operations should QSY to 7275.0 kHz (or 3921.0 kHz) for further QSOs.
Primary reason for the use of the Condor Connection is to get more member participation in our nets and make sure that everyone is heard even when experiencing poor HF band conditions.
