INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS  
 
PRESIDENT: First of all I would like to thank the Chairman of the 
Nominating Committee, _________________ and his staff for selecting 
such an outstanding group of Officers for the coming year. 
Would the Installation Chairman ________________ 
please proceed with the installation of new officers for 200?__. 
 
INSTALLATION OFFICER:  Will the new officers please come forward. 
I congratulate you, the new officers of Sam's Radio Hams for the 
honor extended to you in being elected to serve in the coming year. 
Not only is it an honor, but it is also a privilege to serve in these 
offices to which you have been elected. 
 
________________, as Wagonmaster, it will be your duty to see that all 
the necesary arrangements are made for each campout.  Do you 
accept the responsibilities of you office? 
 
________________, as Treasurer, it will be your duty to keep accurate 
records of money received and money spent by the Chapter, and to 
make regular reports of our financial status.  Do you accept the 
responsibilities of your office? 
 
________________, as Secretary, it is your duty to record and keep the 
minutes of all meetings and be responsible for the correspondence 
of the Chapter.  Do you accept the responsibilities of your office? 
 
________________, as Vice-President it will be your responsibility, 
in the absence of the President, to assume all duties of the 
President.  Do you accept the responsibilities of your office? 
 
________________, as President you will preside at all Chapter 
meetings.  You will appoint th committees and be the coordinator 
of Chapter activities.  Do you accept this responsibility as the 
President of Sam's Radio Hams? 
 
INSTALLING OFFICER (turns to the members):  You have chosen these 
officers to lead you.  Do you promise to support them and encourage 
them in the coming year? 
Mr. President, the new officers are now duly installed. 
 
OUTGOING PRESIDENT hands gavel to the NEW PRESIDENT and invites 
him to say a few words to the group. 
 
NEW PRESIDENT: 
I would like to thank each of the outgoing officers for serving in 
their respective capacities in the past year. 
 
Apprciation is also shown to appointed members including the 
EDITOR OF THE HAMOGRAM, the COMMUNICATION CHAIRMAN, the VE's 
and the members who hosted campouts.
