Communications Chair Duties
ASSISTANT NET CONTROL
The Communications Chairman shall appoint Assistant
Net Directors to act as Net Control for the 40 meter and 75 meter Sam's Radio
Hams nets. Operational methods of the nets shall be at the discretion of the
Communications Chairman. He will compose and update as required a Sam�s Radio
Hams Sunday Net Operators Instruction and Script document, and distribute it to
all Net Control Operators.
NET ROSTER
Maintain a Net Roster with only Names & Call signs. Monitor changes to the
membership Roster, and make changes to this Net Roster as required. Periodically
E-mail the up-dated Net Roster to all members.
REPORTS
The Communication Chairman shall report at the
Chapter meetings the operation of the net and any problems that have occurred
and any other communications support by the Chapter.
GOOD SAM CLUB COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT
All Chapter communications support to other Good Sam Activities such as
Samborees and the Annual Whitney Classic shall be coordinated by the
Communications Chairman.
TALK IN FREQUENCY
The Communications Chairman shall designate the
campout talk in frequency to be used.
