ARRL REPRESENTATIVE

ARRL REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

1.      Monitor the ARRL website and subscribe to the ARRL Weekly Letter to determine the latest information regarding our affiliation with the ARRL (American Radio Relay League).  The ARRL is the principal clearing house for all government and technical information affecting the U.S. Amateur radio community.

2.   Represent Sam's Radio Hams at appropriate meetings and hamfests sponsered by the ARRL .

3.  Prepare digests of important information for publication on the SRH Website and in the Ham-O-Gram newsletter to keep our members up to date with Amateur Radio governmental and technical issues.

4.  Communicate current information to our members during our weekly official nets.

5.   Confer, as necessary, with the SRH Testing appointee to exchange information that affects on our testing program.

6.  Assure that the ARRL Southwestern Division Director and Vice Director receive Ham-O-Grams and other appropriate information as to SRH's  ham radio efforts.

7.  Provide annual affiliated club information to ARRL as requested
