NEW MEMBER RECRUITING

Recruitment of new Chapter members is a team effort. All members of Sam’s Radio Hams have a vested interest in and a shared responsibility for recruiting new members for the Chapter.

The responsibility of the Recruitment Chairperson shall be to aid their efforts and facilitate attracting new members having a true interest in Amateur Radio and in RV Camping.

In carrying out these responsibilities the Recruitment Chairperson shall:

Continuously impress upon the SRH members through HOG articles and direct conversation the critical importance of person-to-person contacts in acquiring new members.

Provide supporting Materials to the members to aid their recruitment efforts.

Arrange to visit the area Ham Radio club meetings and give a presentation of the Chapter and what it has to offer.

Attend Good Sam gatherings, such as the Samboree, to identify Hams in attendance and promote the Chapter.
